Match Case

The tool's default behavior is to replace every instance of the string you're looking for, regardless of letter case. Enable this option to match your search query precisely by making the operation case sensitive.

When the match case is enabled, for instance, searching "h" does not match the "H" in "Hello."

Replace: X
Result: Hello World!
Replaced: 0

Whole Word Only

“Whole Word” is a setting that only enables you to replace a match if no other string comes before or after it.

When "Whole Word" is enabled, for instance, searching "brow" does not match the "brow" in the word "brown."

Input: The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
Find: brow
Replace: eyebrow 
Result: The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
Replaced: 0
